AML Business provides financial advice regarding commercial lending and business finance products from a range of bank and non-bank lenders. All our advisers are Registered Financial Advisers, specialising in providing tailored advice for business and commercial requirements.

Pepper Money, Liberty, Avanti Finance, Basecorp Finance, First Mortgage Trust, Southern Cross, Prospa, Plus Finance, Funding Partners, Finabse, Finance Direct, Xceda Finance, and CFML.

Adviser Experience

All of our advisers have a wide range of experience in the financial sector. When you meet your adviser, they will go through a personal disclosure document with you to fully explain their professional background, providing assurance they are well-equipped to provide you with expert business advice.

How We Are Paid, Fees, Expenses, and Remuneration

We do not charge upfront fees, expenses, or other amounts for the initial financial advice given to you.

Commissions

The commissions are between 0.55% and 0.90% of the initial loan balance or amount funded. We may/will also receive 0.15% to 0.20% of the balance on each anniversary. Some banks pay $150 for refixing existing facilities, and some pay trail commissions. A full schedule of all providers and their commission rates is available upon request.

Insurance

We may also receive a share of commission on risk insurance policies.

  • Initial Commission: 100% to 200% of the total annual premium, AIA, Cigna/Chubb Life, and Partner's Life.
  • Ongoing Commission: 5% to 10% of each year’s premiums for as long as the policy remains in force.

Privacy and Data Handling, Updated for IPP3A Compliance

All communications and information provided are subject to the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

Direct & Indirect Collection: Under Information Privacy Principle 3A, effective 1 May 2026, we notify you that we routinely collect personal and business information indirectly from third parties. This includes credit reporting agencies, marketing organisations, your nominated representatives, legal/accounting, your employer, or publicly available sources.

Information Sharing: To facilitate your applications, it is necessary to share your information with intended lenders on our panel, as well as non-panel lenders, such as institutional and sophisticated investors. We do not share your information with any other party without your approval. You may access and correct your information at any time. Records are securely destroyed after 7 years.

Professional Indemnity Insurance

We maintain $2 million of Professional Indemnity, PI, cover, maximum cover of $1 million per claim. This protects our clients from financial loss due to proven cases of fraud, gross negligence, or gross misrepresentation if perpetrated by us.

Any discussions on legal and accounting issues do not replace advice from qualified specialists, solicitors and accountants. We strongly recommend you obtain independent specialist advice for these matters.

Anyone within our business giving advice is bound by the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013. We are committed to:
